The NCR RealPOS Low Profile Bi-Optic Scanner/Scale incorporates NCR’s Optical Effects Technology, first introduced in the NCR RealPOS Low Profile Bi-Optic Scanner/Scale, featuring a cutting-edge design that drives more scan lines at greater lengths to dramatically improve performance. This extensive scan coverage and higher performance read rate provides an overall productivity boost for all users – novice and experienced.
Intuitive Cashier Interface
To further improve ease of use, the cashier interface offers a customizable scan adviser leveraging five bright LED’s, which lets the cashier know when the scanner is ready and if the scan was successful. The use of peripheral vision, colors and patterns is also ideal for hearing impaired cashiers.
Improved Operational Efficiency
The NCR RealPOS Low Profile Bi-Optic Scanner/Scale includes many features designed to improve serviceability and provide greater configuration flexibility and investment protection to reduce total cost of ownership. Examples include three independent service zones, only five screws to service the whole scanner (using only a Phillips #2 screwdriver), Scan Doctor software to aid in fixing problems and the support of Sensormatic® Ultra•Max® Deactivator 5274 technology enabling deactivation of antitheft tags.
